    A lot of people around here can cure ailments.
    Person's whose father and mother are of the same name can cure whooping cough by giving bread and butter and they can also cure mumps by leading the person with a halter to a stream of water and making them drink of it.
    Annie Doherty of Glenmaquin can cure a burn and she can cure ringworm by rubbing it with a gold ring.
    Steward Bonar of Deerpark Convoy can cure erysipelas and he can cure a bleeding at the nose; and there are several people who can cure a sprain by rubbing it.
    There are several people who can cure toothache. My father can cure jaundice by giving a bottle.
