There is no cloth woven around this district now, but some time ago people used to weave their own cloth. The men used to wear white linen shirts made out of home-grown flax. Table-cloths were also made out of home-grown flax.
Stockings and socks are still knitted in this district but the wool is not spun it is bought in the shops.
