  1. Once upon a time there lived a man who had a drain under his farm.
    One day a fairy came into him and asked him to see the drain. He showed it to the fairy. The man says to him, Come on your ceilide some night. The fairy said he would, only that he didn't know where it was. Well, said the fairy, I'll come about eight o'clock. When he came, he told the man to show him the drain, and when he looked round, the fairy had disappeared.
