  2. We have a churn at home. It is a barrel churn. The top and bottom are the same width, and it is bulged in the centre.
    The stand is about two and a half feet in height, and is about one an a half from side to side. There are two little hollows in the stand, and the two irons that are projecting out of the barrel are placed in them. This is done so that the barrel can turn round freely.
