    In the south side of Mullagh

    A Song
    This song was composed by a travelling poet that went around this part of the country. Castle-Nancy is a townland in the parish of Mullagh about six miles south of the village of Aughrim. Cappy means Cappatagel, a village about four miles south of Aughrim.
    In the south side of Mullagh
    Castlenancy doth lie,
    'Tis in that nice village you'll find
    comfort and joy.
    Nigh Gurtymadden though built
    in a lane
    It's in this nice village I'd like
    to remain.
    It's people are civil, well mannered
