  1. It is said that long ago there were many strange things seen in Clairin Lake.
    A man named John Keane from this village was one day fishing in that lake. He saw come out of the lake a fish as big as a horse and much like a horse also. He started to eat grass on the banks of the lake and when he had enough eaten he went back again to the water.
    John Keane never fished in that lake again.
