  1. There is an old Lios in Lehid. Tom McGarth owns the field now where the lios is situated. Gort Murrucú it was called long ago. It is about 12 yards long 6 yards wide and about 3 feet deep with a little wall around it on one side. It is over ground. Children who were lay baptised were buried round it.
    It is said that there was an old road from Lehid road leading to the lios that the fairies were seen passing along it to the lios. It is said that they must be burying children around it. It is said also that it was out of the bog the fairies came.
