  1. A woman who lived in lower Liskeavy, named Mrs. Brennan was able to make an ointment from herbs which cured sores and burns.
    Long ago when the children had the chin-cough their parents gave them gráineog's soup which cured them.
    When a person met a man with a pure white horse, he asked a cure for the chin-cough. What ever cure he gave would cure the child.
