  1. At the foot of Culkeens hill there is a haw thorn bush. It is believed that there is a pot of gold beneath it. Any body did not dare to take the gold for the tree would be under the person who would touch it at night in bed.
    In castlegrove Lake
    Before one of the Blake's died he wrote his will on an iron table. Some one stole it and threw it into the Castlegrove lake. Lots of people searched for it but they could not find it.
