  1. The road leading to Lehid village was made eighty years ago. There are many other roads leading off from the main road in to the fields. Each Boitrin has its own name.
Boithrín Lackey is a road leading to the fields near the river. Long ago there was a man called Lackey living in it and that is why it got this name. Boithrín Stokes leads to Michael Gill's land from the main road. A part of it is very narrow and only an animal could walk in it.
Poirse is another road, it is between Monin and Walsh's house. It is very narrow and that is why it got the name. Cnocán Carrach is near William Macnamara's house. Gleann Dubh is near it. In olden times Glean Dubh used to be filled with water in the Winter and in Summer when it used to dry up the land used be very black and without grass that is why it was called Glean Dubh.
