    to climb up to it, and kept his eyes fixed on the cleft. When he reached it, he saw that it was a vast circular chamber, and it was filled with a faint golden light. A great wonder and fear came upon him, as he stood on its threshold, and looked within, for lying on the sandy ground was a multitude of fairies.
    The man turned and fled from the cave with fear. They say if any person ever touches the cave, he is caught in a magical trap.
