  1. A Folk-Tale
    Carrig-na-saoire is the name of a field outside Dromahair in which there is a big hill.
    Long ago this field was haunted by fairies and it was also surrounded by trees. One day a man decided to cut down some of these trees. When he was about to cut some of the trees he heard a voice say, ''leave those trees alone or you will regret it.''
    The man gave no heed to the voice, but kept on cutting the trees. When he had all the trees cut he went home. At nightfall he went to bed. When he was about a half- hour in bed he felt a cold hand on his forehead. At once he fell asleep. Next morning
