  1. Fairy Forts
    Situated in the town land of Ardvarney and on the side of the road leading from Dromahair to Manorhamilton is a fairy ring or sometimes known by the name fort. A fort is a level field just like any other field except that it is a round shape and it has a round circle of the bushes in the centre of it and it is raised a little in this particular spot.
    Every night a number of lights are to be saw dancing through the fort and the local people say that it is the fairies that are dancing and making all the lights. The people may
