  1. The Care of our Farm Animals.
    Here is a list of the animals which we have on our farm; Cows, heifers, bullocks, calves a horse, a donkey, two goats, and about ten sheep. In the farm yard we keep a sow and young pigs, and hens, geese ducks and turkeys. The domestic animals which we keep in the house are the dog and the cat.
    On the farm animals especially we have names, for instance one cow is called the thief because she thieves on other people's land, then there is crooked horns" Smith's cow, the polly darkie and snow ball. The dog is called Captain and the cat Pussy. These know their names and
