  1. There are a great many animals on the farm. Here is a list of them, cows, asses, horses, sheep, pigs, chickens, hens and turkies. In the house we keep cats and dogs. There are a great many names on the animals. Daisy is the name of my cow. I put that name on her because she is the colour of a daisy. She is out in the field in Summer. In Winter she is in the stable. She is tied around the neck with a rope or a chain. My horse is a brown colour. He is a very good worker. When there is no work for him, he is put in the stable. We
