    is a heap of stones and earth below Killahan school and it was an old custom to throw a stone in the heap whenever a person passed by, and also to pray for the dead. The reason for this was that a man was killed there many years ago and it was the custom to throw a stone on the spot for years afterwards. Thus it happened that the mound came to be there.

  2. The games I play are, "puss in the corner", "batch the bun", queen Sheba", "donkeys tail" and "squeak piggy".
    There are must be five players when playing "puss in the corner"; four at each corner and the fifth in the middle. This player calls out "puss, puss"and as he does so all run so as to change corners. The player in the middle watches to see if he can get into a corner and if he does the
