    washing the feet, and it should never be thrown out late at night.
    Some people repair their own shoes. There are very few sho makers in the district.
    Clogs were worn always in the olden times. People who live in bad wet places wear them still. it is an old saying that if you let your shoes on the chair you will with a disappointment.
    I often heard an old woman say that the life of an old shoe is to clean. I also heard her say that "every old shoe can get an old stocking" meaning that no matter how queer a man or woman is they can get a wife or husband.
