    snatched the Rosary from him and trampled on it. Two of the older boys on seeing the illtreatment to the symbol of their religion seized the master and pitched him out through the window of the school.
    The parents of the children then protested against this man as a teacher owing to the insult he had offered to their religion and on account of his lack of knowledge of the Irish language, and they succeeded in getting a new master who was a Catholic and was competent to teach both in Irish and in English.
