    A good many years ago there were two Scotch steamers that ran into one another on Lough Foyle, about four miles from the Townland of Carnamoyle, Parish of Muff, Co. Donegal. One of the steamers was coming from Glasgow to Londonderry and the other was going to Glasgow from Londonderry. There were six men drowned of the steamer that was coming from Glasgow. They were so much excited that they jumped into the sea. There was only one man killed of the other steamer.
