    Páircín an tobair : There is a big well in that field and that is why it was called that name.
    Sraith : There was a footpath leading from Irishtown to Garraidhdubh and the old people called it the sraith
    Mútach : This field is covered with little hillocks or mútas and that is how it got its name.
    Talamh garraidh : We have a patch of land at home and it wasn't tilled for over ten years and that is how it got its name.

    Cis sloise : There is a stream of water flowing from the lochán under a bridge and that is how it got its name :
