  1. On St. Stephen's day the wren boys go around from house to house gathering money and on there way home they share it between themselves.
    On St. Brigids day two or three girls make a false baby and carries it around and collects money on that occassion.
    On St. Patricks day the children used to make crosses of every colour of ribbon and wear them on their shoulders.
    On ash Wednesday there is Mass in the church and the priest put a cross of holy ashes on everybodys forehead that attends mass.
    On good Fridays everyone goe to the church and does a station in honour of the Crucifixion.
    On Easter Sunday everybody has a big feast and the children
