  1. Mr. Paddy Frank Waldron was a native of Derrymore. He migrated to Liscat. He was grandfather to the present Mr. T Waldron. N.T Larganboy He was well known as the strongest man in Co. Mayo. He was sent by John Lyons (agent for Colonal Knox, Thurles, Tipperary for a load of timber to Mr. Strickland's place at Loughglynn. The load was eighteen hundred weight. Coming from Loughglin he had to climb Grewy Hill. The horse refused to draw the load. Paddy Frank unyoked the horse, put the backband over his own shoulders, and drew the load to the top of Grewy Hill.
