  1. There are two graveyards in the parish, one in Bekan and one in Tulrahan. Both are square shaped and both slope to the south. Bekan graveyard contains the ruin of an old church and there is also a vault there where the Burke's of Bekan used to be buried. There are many tombstones in this graveyard and in the old part there are trees. Tulrahan graveyard is in very high ground and a great many trees are growing in
