    There is one fort in Erriff. It is circular in shape and is surrounded by a ring of earth and stones. There is an entrance at the side. People have gone down and found two rooms below one leading in to the other. This fort was built by the Irish to protect themselves from the Danes. It is also regarded as the dwelling place of fairies. A woman dress in white was seen
