    Reisk in the parish of Belean and baron of Costello is my home district. There are eighteen families, about seventy nine people living in Reisk. The family name most common is Forde. There are six old people in the village each over seventy years of age. They are Mrs. Johnson, Miss Veasey and Mr. Finn; those three can speak Irish. Long ago the houses were all thatched but several new houses have been built and those of course are slated. The houses were much more numerous long ago, but many people emigrated in
