  1. There are three forts and one cashel in the townland of Larganboy. They are all within view of each other. The forts are circular in shape while the cashel is square. Two of the forts are surrounded by trees and the other one is situated on a little hill and surrounded by a bank of earth.
    There is a fence of earth and stones around the cashel. In the centre is a hole which leads into the ruins. Some people have gone into the ruins, but there is nothing to be seen but three rooms and a passage leading to each one
