    Quarry." There is a quarry in a very big hill which gives it its name. "Coillín" "the Little Wood". This little wood is a very pleasant one to look at. There are small nut trees in the wood and in the month of November these little trees are covered with hazel nuts. "Owen's field" so called because there was a race run between a man called Owen and a man called John and Owen won the race.
