  1. The marriage customs now are entirely different from those which were about fifty years ago.
    Long ago the people only got married at certain times of the year and that was usually in Spring but as time went on that custom died out and now people don't mind what time of the year they get married.
    A girl would always like to get married in a bright sunny day for it is said that if that day is dreary or wet the girl would shed tears during her life. I heard of a girl who had to be carried across a big flood on her way to the church. She
