    There was a rich lady in the Country,
    Sweet hearts she had plenty the highest degree
    As she rode in great splendour free from all care,
    Till her father;s young ploughboy [?] her heart did ensnare.

    One day as she rode down [?] father's domain,
    Young Willie the ploughboy was ploughing the plain,
    He whistled so sweetly cause the woods to resound,
    And the birds on each bramble silent all round.
