  1. There are a number of blessed wells throughout Ireland. There is one about half mile from Kiltimagh town. It is there a thousand years. Before it came there it was in Cortoon. When it is there a woman went to it for water for her tea. When she thought it was boiled she looked at it and it was like blood. At that moment the well rose from the ground and went to the place is now.
    I know a field in which there is a stone which fell from the little tower that was beside the well. The stone shaped like a little well.
