enough to put them over the month of July. So they were three pots short and the old man said to the old woman if you fix me on the table overboard there would be no eating troubling the boy for a day or two. So she did and when the boy came home the old woman was crying and the boy said what was wrong with you and she said the old man dropped dead. A, said the boy, it is no good crying let us put down a pot of potatoes and when the potatoes were boiled, he went eating them at the round table on the middle of the floor. So the boy noticed the dead man was watching him and he got the beetle and said he could stand a live man watching him but could not stand a dead man watching him and gave him three blows on the head and killed him. So when he was buried three weeks the old woman and the boy got married. They lived happy together after that.
