    The following are the names of fields in my village.
    Léisin.
    It got that name because there was a fort in it. There was also a cíliin in it, and cíllin means that there was a little grave-yard in it for unbaptised infants. The infants used to be buried there many years ago, that never was baptised.
    Cloch Scólseach.
    It got this name because there is a big rock in it. It is also split in two halves. It is the biggest rock in the village. Cloc Scólseac means a split rock.
