    Holy Saint Joseph
    Watch over me while I sleep.
    The five bleeding wounds
    Were nailed to a cross.
    Mercyful Jesus, have mercy on me.

    My soul and my body I resign unto you.
    Mother are you sleeping.
    No son dear I am dreaming.
    What are you dreaming?
    I am dreaming that you are nailed to a cross.
    And a spear driving through your right side,

    Those that say this prayer three times going to sound sleep will never go to hell.
    As I lie down this night to sleep.
    I give my soul to God to keep.
    And if I die before I awake.
    I trust in God my soul shall take
