I'll tell you a story that happened one day,
It's about a fair maiden her age was sixteen.
And she sported the colours White, Yellow and Green. II
A bold Irish Bobby by chance passed the way.
And he spied this young maid with her banner so gay,
With a laugh and a sneer he jumped from his machine,
Intending to capture White, Yellow and Green. III
