    Once upon a time there was another boy employed as cowherd at a farm.

    A Fairy Story.
    Once upon a time there was another boy employed as a cowherd at a farm. He was herding the cows every day. In the evening when it was growing dusk he could see the fairies dancing about, it was only odd people who could see them. When the fairies began to appear in the evening he left the cows in the field and came home. The cows always came home themselves.
    One evening they didn't come home, the people of the house waited until bedtime but the cows didn't come. Then the man of the house started out in search of the cows. He travelled about and went up by the mountain. He found the cows up on the top of a
