  1. Bread.
    The way bread was made in olden times The people grew their own wheat and oats. The had a flat stone in the middle of the barn and put another on top of it and put another little one on the side of the top stone and put a handle on the side of the top stone and put the wheat between the stones.
    Then they pulled the handle round and the weight of the top stone will grind the wheat.
    The stone that ground the wheat was called a grind
