    The birds that are most commonly seen in our district are thrushes, blackbirds, crows, seagulls, robins, felts, starlings, sparrows, housesparrows, hedgesparrows, greys, larks, wrens, owls, swallows, pigeons, moorhens, water-ducks, woodcocks, plover, lapwing, wildgeese, and linnets and jackdaws.
    The robins build their nests in hedges and the thrushes build in trees and the felts and crows and starlings and hedgesparrows and jackdaws build their nests in the top of trees also.
    Wrens build their nests in old houses and the swallows build their nests in old houses too. House sparrows build their nests
