    Last year to Inishowen I went,
    A few days just to prove,
    The statements and the stories,
    I have heard concerning Shrove.
    This place is now quite popular
    Its fame is gone afar,
    And one of the great attractions there,
    To Jack McCutcheon's Car.

    Its good for mind and body,
    As you can easily prove,
    If you'll take a trip with Jackie,
    O'er the rocky road to Shrove,
    You'll ne'er forget the humps and bumps
    The rocks and stoaes there are,
    So take my tip and make this
