  1. Hidden Treasure.
    The treasure is supposed to have been hidden in the old Castle at Greencastle. It was placed there by Richard DeBurgo. It was placed there for safety. No attempts have ever been made to unearth it.
    The treasure is supposed to consist of gold and its value is supposed to be about one hundred pounds and there is a snake around the pot of gold.
    A man tried to dig up the gold but he could not get near it
    People have discovered gold in our district. There is a snake safeguarding this gold and it is said that it is twisted round the pot.
