  1. Churning.
    I have a churn at home.
    It is two feet eight inches high and nineteen inches wide at the top and sixty inches wide at the bottom. The sides are round. It is about two years old. The various parts of the churn are the hoops, the churn, the staff, the dash, the lid and the staves. There is no mark on the sides or bottom of the churn.
    The butter is made four times a week in the summer and twice a week in the winter.
    Mother does the churning. Sometimes strangers who come in, join in the churning because it is
