  1. Local Cures.
    There are (is) many cures for warts and some of them are to get a snail and rub it on the wart and then tie the snail on a briar bush and as the snail withers and dies the wart will wither and fall off.
    There is another which is a very good one and it is to get a lump of washingsoda and rub it on the wart and then the washingsoda will dry up the wart and after some time the wart will fall out.
    There is a cure for a stye and it is to get seven gooseberry thorns and point six of them at the stye and then throw the seventh away.
