    There are four corners on my bed,
    There are four angels overspread,
    Matthew, Mark, Luke and John,
    God bless the bed that I lie on
    If I die in the morn, before I wake,
    I prey to God my soul to take.
    I am a little Catholic,
    I love my holy faith,
    I love my cross, I love my beads,
    I'll love them until death.
    As I went up the Blessed Land,
    I met the Blessed Virgin,
    Seven prayer books in he hand,
    Seven candles lit.
    Seven bells ringing,
    Seven priests singing,
    Shut the gates to hell.
    Open the gates of heaven,
    Let the poor suffering soul in.
    Blessed be the leaf, blessed be the flower,
    Jesus ever at my dying hour.
