    If you see a new moon you should go out into the garden, and turn your money. By the next new moon you will have double.
    If you hang a horse shoe over the door it will bring good luck.
    If your left hand is itchy you are going to get money, and if the right one is itchy you are going to get a strange shake hand.
    If your tooth falls out, and you put it under your pillow, the the morning it will turn into three pence.
    If your nose is itchy you are going to fight.
    If a spider gets on to your clothes you are going to get new clothes.
    If you cry on your birthday you will cry all the year round.
    If you were talking to a person who had been sick, and you say that you had not got the disease you are supposed to touch wood, and you won't get it.
