    There is an old fort situated in the parish of Ballymana and in the townland of Colesgrove. Its name is Lisnagloos. In former times it was surrounded by a stone wall, but it is now broken down. There is a fire side story relating to this fort. It ancient times there was a battle fought in it. Long ago it was dug by a family called the Lamberts for sand for building a house. The horses that drew the sand were found dead in their stables next morning. No body ever interfered with it. No body ever explored
