  1. The name of my home district is Ballyslea. It is situated in the parish of Kilchreest in the barony of Dunkellin in the Co Galway. There are seven families living in it but the exact number of people living in it is thirty one. It is a fairly big village. there are two slated houses in it and five thatched ones. The first slated house was built about fifty years ago and the second one was built five years ago. The oldest person in the district is Michael Murphy
