  1. The name of my home district is Colesgrove. It is situated in the parish of Craughwell, in the barony of Dunkillin, in the Co Galway. There are six families living in it, but in former times there were ten. The approximate number of people living in it at present is twenty nine, but in former times there were more. There are six houses in it but in former times there were more. The ruins of four are still to be seen. There are four thatched houses in my district. The first slated house was built in the year 1905. It was built by a
