    Before Doone was divided the field was part of a large farm. There trhe labourers weere paid.

    "In the corner of the Stone Park there is a "Lisheen" where little children and a priest were buried. It is said that the priest was saying Mass there over the children and a band of soldiers came on him and shot him. They buried him with teh children."

    When St. Patrick was coming from Clonmel he spent a night in Kilennell. He left one of his monks name Conall behind him. Conall built a church there.
