  1. Once upon a time a woman lived in a little house in this townland. The house was situated in a field opposite to Patrick Welsh's house.
The woman also owned a little garden and she was very happy, but alas some cruel man grabbed her property and she had to beg for her food. Every morning she used to say. "Dead or alive I will never forgive the man who grabbed my property.
When she was dying the Parish Priest tried to get her to forgive him but she would not.
Some time after her death she appeared to him as he was bringing hat to his cattle and she killed him.
