  1. Many years ago there lived at Ventry Harbour a Lord named Lord Ventry. He had a servant who was great for walking. Once the servant walked from West Kerry to Limerick and back in one day.
At that time there was a Lord who lived under the water in a city and Banny Fewn was his name. Some times he used to stay at Lord Ventry's Castle for a couple of days. On one time he stayed there Lord Ventry told him how his servant had walked from Kerry to Limerick.
The Banny Fewn told them of the city under the water and the apple trees that grew there.
