  1. There are many forts in the district in which I live and they are mostly all in the parish of Ballydonohue.
    About a mile from my home there is a fort called "Lios na Cathrach", it is in Tom Buckley's land.
    There are two other forts about the same distance from my home one in John O'Connor's land and another in Tim Muphey's which is called "Lios na Uisce".
    All the forts form a circle and they are all protected by a large stone wall.
    The man who owned the farm in which "Lios na Cathrach" was, levelled it and went out to plough and himself and his horses went down through it and they were never heard of more.
